 What are LEDs?

LEDs, or light-emitting diodes, are semiconductor devices that produce visible light when the voltage is applied to them. Compared to traditional light sources, LEDs bring many advantages including higher efficacy, longer lifetime, instant-on, greater optical control, greater design flexibility, dimmable, and containing no mercury. This translates to energy savings, cost savings, and environmental sustainability.

What are the benefits of using LEDs vs CFLs and other energy-saving lamps?

SLED lamps offer a great array of benefits when compared to CFLs and other energy-saving lamps. Among the benefits offered by LEDs, we found:

1) Instant On: LED lamps turn on instantly at full brightness with no prior warm-up required.

2) Mercury Free: Absent of any amount of Mercury (Hg).

3) Lead-Free: Absent of any amount of Lead.

4) Cool to the touch: Unlike incandescent bulbs or CFLs, LEDs transmit heat downwards releasing such heat to the heat sink (body) and allowing the diffuser (head) to be cool to the touch.

What are Watts (W)?

A Watt is a measure of electric power.

What are lumens?

Lumens (lm) are a measure of the total amount of visible light (to the human eye) from a light source.

 

What is Luminous Efficacy (lm/W)?

Measures the efficiency of a light source by dividing the total lumen output (lm) by the total input power (W).

What is CCT?

The correlated color temperature (CCT) is a specification of the color appearance of the light emitted by a lamp, relating its color to the color of light from a reference source when heated to a particular temperature, measured in degrees Kelvin (K).

What is the Colour Rendering Index (CRI)?

The Color Rendering Index (CRI) is a way to measure how faithfully colors are seen in the presence of a light source in comparison to natural light. The CRI scale goes up to 100, this being given to lights that are comparable to daylight. LED lights typically range from 80 to 97 on the index scale. Do you have any MOQ limit for the lamp orders?

MOQ50pcs, 1pc for sample checking is available.

Can I have a sample order for your products?

Yes, we welcome sample orders to test and check quality. Mixed samples are acceptable.
 

What about the lead time?

The sample needs 10-15 days. Mass production time needs 30-50 days depending on order quantity.
 

What are your payment terms?

T/T 30% deposit to confirm the order, 70% balance before delivery. Sample orders need to be paid 100% in advance.

 

How do you ship the goods and how long does it take to arrive?

We usually ship by FCL sea shipping. And for samples, we will ship by DHL, UPS, or FedEx. It usually takes 5-7 days to arrive for airfreight shipment. Airline and LCL shipping is also optional.

    What product certificates do you have?

    We have CE, and RoHS for the general Europe market. UL and cUL for the USA and Canada market.

    WARRANTY

    What is the product warranty?
    Yibang Lighting products have a warranty against manufacturer defects for 2 years. And a 5-year warranty for high-end products. Product replacement is provided at no charge during this warranty period. The product must be returned to Yibang Lighting for inspection at the customer's expense. Yibang Lighting does not provide for any labor costs related to the product warranty.

    What if my product is out of warranty?
    Yibang Lighting would like to ensure long-term customer satisfaction. If there are product-related issues after the first year. We will address these on a case-by-case basis.
